A "know-your-enemy" propaganda film similar to "Know Your Enemy: Japan" and "My Japan", films about Japan with the same objective. It contains a history of the prelude to WW II, the death camps and other Nazi war crimes, and commentary on the character of the German people. Directed by Frank Capra, this film is in essentially the same format as his "Why We Fight" series. It was intended to be shown to American troops participating in the invasion and occupation of Germany. But by the time it was ready, events had overtaken it -- Germany was already well on its way to falling -- so the film was shelved. Although it is readily available for public-domain viewing on the Internet, it has never been widely distributed or shown.

This movie is set at the start of World War II, with little shepherds on the green slopes of an Albanian mountain range featured as intrigued, distant observers of the Italian army and their prey, the partisan fighters who are hiding in the homes of the villagers. Even the Albanian police who are supposed to be helping the Italians do not betray the resistance fighters when they see them. The children watch as the hunter and hunted play out their drama below, not understanding that the scenes are more real than their own hunt for the five-legged rabbit that is supposed to be living in these hills. As the tragedies of war mount, the children start to become more involved - at one point they steal the weapons from some drunken Italian soldiers, nearly leading to a disaster on their part. Time and events rapidly unfold, and it soon becomes apparent that their innocence will not last for long because their own existence is threatened in a way they are just beginning to understand.

1943, The Netherlands is under total Nazi occupation. When the Jews are being deported, the husband, the wife and the lover find themselves at the same concentration camp; actually living in the same barracks. When Jack's wife objects to the "girlfriend" in spite of their unhappy marriage, Jack and Ina resort to writing secret love letters, which sustain them throughout the horrible circumstances of the war.

This film breathes an unfaltering belief in a favourable close: unconditional victory. At the time, the film was a great success and yielded a lot of money for medical aid to Spain.

Cameramen of the producer Djoka Bogdanovic filmed by camera three pictures on Zedilovacka ridge during the 10th and 11th July 1913: 1) Attack of the XII Infantry Regiment “Car Lazar“ on the Bulgarian position on Zedilovacka ridge at 1200 metres away from the enemy; 2) Regiment reserve of the Infantry Regiment “Car Lazar“ approaches Zedilovo at the distance of 1500 metres away from the enemy; 3) Work in the headquarters of the Infantry Regiment “Car Lazar“ of I age class after the battle on Zedilovacka ridge.
Opposing forces, a government soldier and a guerrilla are trapped together in the heavily-bombed area around the Guazapa volcano.
