Refuse & Recycling

Refuse and Recycling collection takes place once a week on Thursdays. If a Holiday falls on a Thursday, the collection will be done the following day. The Borough's contracted hauler is Penn Waste.

Both refuse and recycling must be placed at curbside for collection by
6:00 a.m. the day of collection.Empty containers should be removed from the curbside in a timely manner.


Recycling is mandatory in Seven Valleys Borough.  Acceptable items can be placed in the green recycling bin that is provided by the Borough to all properties.The recycling bin is the property of Seven Valleys Borough, as well as the contents of the bin from the point that it is placed at curbside for collection.  Any bin that is lost, stolen damaged or destroyed is replaceable at the Borough Office.

Food Boxes (such as cereal boxes, jello boxes, etc)

Empty Paper Towel & Toilet Paper Rolls

Paperboard Packaging (Tissue Boxes, etc.)

Newspapers & Inserts

Office Paper (any color)

Shredded Paper (in clear plastic bags, please)

Magazines, Catalogs & Brochures

Junk Mail & Envelopes

Paper Bags

Phone Books & Other Soft Cover Books

Plastic Water, Juice & Soda Bottles

Plastic Containers & Bottles #1 through #7 With necks smaller than their bases.

This may include items such as shampoo bottles, liquid detergent containers, condiment bottles, etc. Please check the container to find the designated number.

Aluminum Cans

Steel Cans and Food Containers

Empty Aerosol Cans

Clear, brown and green glass food and beverage containers.
